What

Creating a community through my hotel where locals and tourists interact together with more depth through workshops rather than just visiting galleries momentarily.

Why

During the site analysis we were asking the people in the area from diverse cultures what they wished to be added to the area, they said they would like to have a way to interact with tourists.

How

The bedrooms were extruded from the ground to create pockets for the workshop, gallery, kitchen thus having a completely public zone on the ground floor for tourists and locals to use keeping the upper floor private with glass panels on the floor of the rooms to view the community within their rooms.
